Class
Swing
Swing is a quick way into a first night: bouncy music, a rhythm you feel right away and a lot of laughing. You'll learn the basic, how to lead and follow it and how to change partners without losing the beat. No partner needed.

What a class is like
- 01
Step 1: Warm up
A few minutes to move, listen to the music and find the beat.
- 02
Step 2: The basic
The rhythm of the dance, on your own first and then with a partner.
- 03
Step 3: One new step
A turn, a swing-out or a kick, shown slowly and then in time with the music.
- 04
Step 4: Change partners
We rotate every few minutes, so you dance with the whole room and never wait for a partner.
Good to know
What to wear
Clothes you can move in and shoes with a smooth sole. Clean sneakers are fine for the first nights. Bring water.
Class length and size
An hour, with up to 24 dancers. The social starts when the class ends.
Level and moving up
First night and beginner are the way in. Your teacher tells you when improver fits; there is no test and no rush.
